Active private equity firm to extend and complement existing cannabis portfolio with deployment of Fund II capital.
Following the deployment of approximately $23 million into the cannabis industry over the prior 15 months, private equity firm Merida Capital Partners launched its $75 million Fund II. Funds raised for Fund II will be used to amplify Merida filtration model and the significant knowledge developed from Fund I investments into new verticals and complementary companies within the cannabis space.
